This album was recorded between 2005 and 2007 under the name of my first band :Golgatha:. Later I realized it was stylistically the birth of Vortex even before the album 'Phanopoeia' took shape. :Golgatha: was already a band and created a much more melodic and folky sound. 'Cycles' was released as a stricly limited boxset in 2007 and as a CD by Midnight Productions (China) in May 2009. As :Golgatha: is officially ended, I have decided to present this obscure album as document of initial Vortex-recordings under a new title and in remastered quality.

❤️ I've heard all of the tracks by Sabled Sun on Cryo Chamber's Youtube channel at least once, but this album is definitely my favorite of the project by far. A wide range of moods and sounds creates a perfect industrial, post-apocalyptic soundscape. Chef's kiss! Plushie Fanatic
